All weather cover

They look awesome, but theyre not something you can carry on the bike ,are they??

That would be a big negative. They weigh roughly 80 lbs, and can be bolted right into the ground (cement,asphalt...). It is for people who dont have a garage. I like it because I can pull my bike right onto it and cover it immeadiately and not have to worry about hot pipes because the cover doesnt actually touch the bike. It seals around the bottom plate using velcro, so I dont get any pollen or other crap in there either.

I know you wuz kiddin, hipporider, but really, you can't make those, like me, who refuse to tether themselves to electrically heated riding gear, feel worse than we already do about our layover months.

Actually that elec tethered gear isn't looking to bad at all! If it means you can still enjoy long rides in the cold,I am all for it.

As for the topic of all weather cover, I have been considering the notion of a waterproof crate big enough for the R3 that is mounted to an area outside where you cant have a shed. The idea is you have a platform you ride the bike onto then that platform moves by castors into the crate and then you lock it up out of weather and scoundrels hands.I think if it was made out of concrete form ply, it would work ok for a prototype.:idea:
