WhT a Wise-Ass! :thumbsdown::p
After the recent spat of broken clutch cables reported here, I got a spare to carry on this trip. I feel so secure!
YOU better carry more than one with your track record of BULL IN A CHINA SHOP

YEP its true you try to plan ahead for any unseen issues . ITS funny I bought a flat kit and carried the thing for years and never needed it but it gave me piece of mind LOL
Better to be looking AT something you need rather than looking FOR something you need.

I still have the original new spare cables for the 1969 KAW 500 MACH 3s I sold thousands of those and never sold a clutch cable I m still trying to sell them now that they are antiques and collectable I asked my friends at the Triumph dealer how many clutch cables have they sold for the ROCKET and they said only one for a crashed bike LOL

Only because it take several weeks to get OEM.
Ask Barnetts the same question.

I don't carry a spare clutch cable but do have spares (as one does) but i do carry a spare accelerator cable (Pull side ) as they have been known to break.

HUH?
OK, I now get it.
Last night I was too tired & burned out after a long & very hot day in the saddle. This morning I re-read & it makes perfect sense, even to this ol fart.

How much you want for the cables ? I'm guessing they are the silver ones ? @IMFASTTOO

I found a local shop who makes up cables. Small shop but I'm told he does good work. My point that I was trying to make is how pathetic Triumph is in the United States. Every time I have needed a part it has to, " be shipped from England." I understand that Triumph isn't very interested in the market here in the U.S., but simple parts shouldn't require over a week. Oh yes 2nd day is an option. Only if a person is willing to spend more on shipping than the part needed.
And I do like the comments about keeping spare cables in the shed. I ask nine guys I ride with how many spare cables they kept.guess the number.... 0
Triumph is very interested in the United States ! Without you guys they probably wouldn't be in business . I live around 200 miles from the Hinkley factory and STILL most parts take around 2 weeks to get to me , whereas the local motorcycle accessory superstore has most pattern parts , like cables on the shelf !
