TuneECU is a free programme which will allow you to diagnose, repair, and modify the ECU and tune in your bike. It is excellent software and there are many of us on this forum who will be happy to help you get up and running with it. You will need to get a cable to connect your computer to your bike. It is a USB cable which plugs into the OBDII port on your bike. This is located inder the seat, next to the fuses and battery. You can get a cable from PowerTripp who is one our members. Wayne (PowerTripp) is a top notch bloke and will look after you if you email or phone him for a cable. He is also the man to tune your bike if you want to get it dyno tuned.

My bike is not stock. Someone alone the way had the ECU sret to accept steight or low resistance exhaust pipes. I have the Tuneable muffler ( Add or subtracct plates..). I'll give him a ring in the morning. I will check the cables going to the ECU first . Just to make sure they are OK.
Can not figure out why the program would go to pot , when i was not messing with anything eletrical.

Email them - they reply fast in general. I do know from Wayne that they are VERY busy at the mo'. Dyno booths are noisy.

I think I read on the .net site that Wayne was shutting up shop due to ill health. I hope I'm wrong

I just got off the phone with Wyane . Why can'tr all dearers / Shops be that helpful. He is going tosend out a cable today, and email me a map.
I am going to be out of the area for awhile , so I will start up this thread again when we get home. We are heading to Norfolk, Va to catch a Navy hop to Europe . Target is Spain>>> Notice I said target.
Need to get away from this bike for awhile anyhow.

If we have the time , it would be worth it. Main idea will be to see a old shipmate. We bought a few barstools and generaly ran amock in Japan, Phillipines ,Italy, plus a few more .
