3rd time...

I’m thinking he is trying to keep up with you
Oh he surpassed me

What gets me is I was just home and because of you I made sure I brought this

And now Mr. Hunt has thinking why didn't I send my extra transmission to Robinson Industry's ? Might just do that when I'm home next month.

I might get another one of them soon too

That looks like the damage you see with a dislodged circlip ? Are you saying a broken clutch bolt did this ?

Haven't been able to dig any deeper yet but yes the order of events would suggest the damage occurred to the pressure plate then the gears....within the time it takes to pull the clutch lever and change up from 2nd...clearly it didn't actually make 3rd lol

Good call Fred...retaining clip for 3rd out has gone rogue.

What do we reckon the chances of this happening without being related to or caused by the clutch issue which happened at almost exactly the same time?

Cum hoc ergo propter hoc...the words a lecturer once taught me. The lesson was don't be fooled just because something happens at the same time as something else!

Internal oiling, surely MTC knows what there doing. Me when I seen the oil sprayer mounted on the left side of the basket it did not take long to figure out its wasn't oiling the fibers. There is not enough velocity on the coolant to penatrate the notches in the basket. Ever seen the coolant velocities used on cylindrical grinders, and surface grinders ? Anyway yours us the same. It dies have plenty of internal oiling and well if thus new basket performs as well as the one in the falcon then I'm good with the workmanship.

I ask purely for my own educational purposes: how does the oil escape the basket and does it build pressure/volume?
