2014 black wheels

Hi all

I was on the triumph stand at the bike show here in the UK earlier today and I raised the issue of black wheels on the 2014 models

As you know Some have them some do not...

Apparently the deal is that the wheel supplier had issues supplying the matt black wheels so they were discontinued

Most of the models with these wheels went to the USA

Bare metal wheels are now standard across the range for all countries

wheels can be painted no big a deal!!
 
Actually I was looking at having the wheels black chrome, I think that would look great.
 
Thats the same answer I got from our good friends in Hinckley when I called them a couple of weeks back.
 
My wheels are going to be black one day but the problem I have is I ride my bike year around and just cant stand the down time. lol

I seem to get my mods done after a mechanical failure (had wheels powder coated when I had sump-plate replaced) or during repairs after I crashed (had a few extra bits and pieces coated then) .. not suggesting you employ my methods though
