That would be somthin....this winter is a washout but next year I'm planning a trip south with the beast, your neck of the woods sounds great. I don't play well in the snow.

I rattle can sprayed the wheels black on a couple of bikes in the past. Rocket would look good with black wheels to match the black engine but is a little too pristine to do any rattle can spraying on the wheels.

plasti dipped mine and it looks better than clear coat from factory

My OEM black/bare metal wheels are already looking like they'll be high maintenance, apparently the clear coat is no longer used with 2013/2014 wheels so they currently have zero protection from the elements...just lots of "texture" from the machining! Come this time next year when I take the bike off road I'll likely get the wheels powder coated black like they should have been from the factory!
