1st Batch of Farkles arrived!

The ozclaw has arrived! Serial numbered and all. It'll be on before the Rocket hits 1001 miles

I have an fairly extensive background in composites, composite manufacturing, composites quality assurance inspections for USGOV contracts, and I can tell you it is a well made product. If handled properly (don't be bending it n'****) it will last. I have seen MUCH worse products sold for far more money from a quality point of view. Structurally, I have zero qualms about taking it to ludicrous speed and trusting it not to fail, the most highly stressed mounting point has extra material. Visually, the gel coat looks pretty even, no print through, and good finish. Either oz has a fantastic mold, or is doing some post production finishing on the exterior (read time and effort invested).

Hat off to you ozrider, you sir delivered in full!

Pics up tomorrow of the claw/K&N 2780s installed.

Pictures of the K&N 2780s, and ozclaw fitted. Pay no mind to the cage in the background playing music, just a 40,000 portable stereo :p

Atlas is currently doing his 12 minute adjustment, then off for a short ride wewt!

Holy s*** the sound is incredible on the bike and without a doubt there is definitely more top end power and maybe a tiny bit of bottom end (sub 1800 rpm) torque lost. Huge success no need for an exhaust now I can just listen to that beautiful intake roar.

I know there is more up top for sure, the needle was moving noticeably faster once I broke a ton than it was before. Also, besides much better top end the throttle response is VASTLY improved both quicker to wake up and much smoother when tooling around at legal speeds including much better parking lot behavior.

Going to hand the guy who sold me the bike the keys tomorrow and let him feel the huge improvement. He's probably the only guy I'll pass keys to around here, rides a turbod S&S motor Street glide, its got some balls so the rocket will only be a moderate increase in power for him;)

Thanks for the wrap...... but, I wasn't that happy with the finish out of the mold so I gave it a coat of paint
