So, I wanted to have all my new stuff on and blacked out before the Distinguished Gentlemen Ride next Sunday, but between shipping the correct cover from England and getting it into be powder coated, and my correct bar being shipped then installed I probably will have a mostly stock looking Rocket still

On a plus note, I think I am going to take off every non black bit except the shocks and exhaust when I get home from the DGR and drop them at the Powder Coating place, might as well get it done in 1 shot right.

Ozclaw should be delivered today so I can get my K&Ns on this weekend at least!!

Sorry to go off topic but you know how it is
Looking forward to seeing the finished bike and I agree you are better of getting All your powder coating done together as that way you will know there should be no shade variations form different powder coating lots

Got the right bars in the mail and installed them last night. Also threw on the bar end mirrors and took off the stock antennas.

2" lower, maybe 1" narrower, and 1-2" forward from stock roadster bars. For $50.00 I think they spectacular, as a tall guy I find the new position better than stock. Ride is definitely more condusive to cornering and leaning, the angle/position of the grips is much better when leant over in a turn. Small change, big difference!
