An interesting endeavor, indeed.
What model and year motor are you putting these on?

I suppose my question would be why? The things weigh a ton due to the cats built into them and aren't really known as being the most free flowing of exhaust upgrades for a classic

One way to help make an older bike look newer. But absolutely no gain any where else IMO.

Do they fit straight on or are the intermediate pipes different?
Thanks

Simon

Done it on my Classic, purely for looks as I didn't like the triple splayed out look of the originals. As others have said, there's no performance gain but that wasn't an issue for me, and I've had enough of loud pipes. They actually have a deeper note which is preferable imo.

I fitted the stock Roadster/Touring cross-over pipe which is empty inside apart from a deflector plate. There's a small mod needed but nothing major, plus you have to make and fit a support bracket, again nothing major. If you still want to do it I can give you a list of the parts needed and what needs to be done.

I think the whole change cost me about £500, new unused Roadster silencers from a trike conversion and the other parts bought from a dealer.
