Zero to ruined in 3.2 seconds

Yup, its mine. And you're right about the Wayne Tripp tune. Its only $400 below my reserve right now with about an hour to go.

Talked to David a little while ago, sounds like it might be a done deal. I hope that it is, I love spending somebody else's money for them.:D

Yup, I'm sure gonna miss the old girl. I'm kind of glad she's going across the country. The other bidder was local. I'd hate for the new owner to have to find me whimpering outside his garage. Probably wouldn't end well.

Probably nothing. How do you follow a Rocket? Haven't been riding much lately, been pretty much everywhere I've wanted to go, and am not getting any younger. For now I'm thinking I'll quit while I'm still in one piece. But, that said, I've done this before. So, who knows...

Sorry to hear that, but, on the other hand, there is a certain serenity in not feeling the need anymore.

My dad has asked me many of times what is next? I am 58 years old he is 85 years old. The Rocket X is the first bike he every acknowledged. He has never rode a bike but has watched painfully as I grew through the years. Now all I can say is (really do not have a clue as to what is next) and for the first time I will find it very hard to beat the Rocket X.:):):):):):)

I've been riding since I was 14, that comes to a bit over 54 years. Done quite a few miles and been some interesting places. I've always been as interested in 4 wheelers as I have in 2 wheelers. Had a few interesting cars over the years, Mustangs, Corvettes, Vipers, and just recently picked up a 3 Series BMW. My wife had an older one several years back and I really liked the balance of that car. I was stuck in my pickup at the time, needing that to tow our race car. So, when the opportunity came along to pick up a year old one at a good price I snatched it up.

I've probably owned almost as many bikes as cars but just haven't found myself wanting to ride as much lately. So, rather than let the Rocket sit in the garage and gather dust I felt it was time to let her go to a new home. For now I'll spend some time and money on the BMW and see what fun it holds. If I get bored with that then we'll see else comes along. If I get another bike it will be something smaller and lighter. Something more suited to day rides than week plus rides. Maybe a dual sport, that is if I can shake the memory of the KLR that pitched me off into a big rock a couple of years back. Broken ribs suck, especially at my age.

Just got an email from my bud David that bought @GPMAZ R3T. The subject line is " YER AN A&& " He wanted to know what oil I ran and what kind of tires that he should round up to install. I almost told him that he needed a car tire :cautious: Figured that might be breaking him a little too fast though.
