Working with metal

Hi you guys I have not been on for about three years any how to make a long story short I'm back and decided to work on my Rocket again. Leanning how to do metal made this side panel out of metak and my belly pan.
Thinking of powder coat the bottom belly pan gloss black and chroming the back vents or just all gloss black what would look better? What do you guys think?

That was so good lookin. Is this metal one gonna look like your old one?
If so, put me down as your first paying customer.
Bear claw with a working butterfly for the throttlebodies would be awesome too.
Got everything to do that myself, just haven't got to it yet...

Idaho Red Rocket 3 , are you talking about a metal spoiler thats on my front of bike? yest that will be out of metal as well. And yes I'll be making a BearClaw as well.

Skip, welcome back as well a lot of **** happen to be my dad going through Cancer and end up dieing my brother watching him go through sergery and problems after that and him dieing, I was so scard I was going to be next, didn't want to do anything , but I'm back
Oh yea can't you tell from the pictures this belly ban is way nicer then my woooden one, wait to I get it powder coated and I'll post picture.
This is a picture of my old one all black.
What should I do power coat it all gloss black? or my back vets a matt black and the rest gloss black? or all gloss black and my back vents chrome ? so they pop out. And that a good idea with my Bearclaw they will open up when opening the throtle I might even chrome the belly pan in picture being all black doesnt really show how nice it really is, my new one is way better

IMHO, black looks dirty quickly, chrome is easier to clean, very nice set-up.

Sensfan I would like to do it all chrome but I was told if I chrome it that it would need to be perfect or it will show and I can't cheat and put body filler to fix the inperfections. Any how found a really good fabricator thats been giving me tips I don't think I can get it any smoother just not good enough, so I'm goiing to bring it to him to perfect it. So I'll see his cost to perfect it to chrome or make it good enough to powdercoat it that will make my mind up on the cost. Chrome with my back vents black is my first choice., but we will see when I bring it back to him, last time he put it up to the light and seen a few his eyes are better then mine lol
