Wind, Warranty vs TuneECU, Cleaning Flat black paint

That screen looks a little weird to me.... It is so far ahead of the gauges compared to the Triumph fly screen.

It can be set as close as you like as long as the back ends of the mounting rods don't hit the tank when the bars are turned sharply.

It actually doesn't sit as far forward as the screens on the Street Triples and similar models.

I put it there to block more wind, and access the key easily.

I am not sure if it has been mentioned but the Triumph sport screen is basically a clear fly screen. so I you want to see through it you might want to consider the sport screen. I love mine it does take away a lot of the air to the chest and head. I keep the other screens for when it gets cold. Something you guys in OZ hardly have to deal with. I ride mine until frost hits the roads after that I am done mostly because I do not want to ask someone to help my scrawny arse pick the bike up after it slid out from under me.

I use a silicone spray to keep my flat black looking great. Spray it on and lightly wipe it around with a micro fiber cloth. Takes 4-5 min to do the entire bike.

Back in the day when I painted my own, any silicone derivative on paint was a huge NO NO.
It gets into the metal and causes issues with new primer and paint.
Perhaps the "new" paints these days are impervious, but I would sure as heck check it out with a pro.

Not sure how truthful this may be.
