Wind Buffing on GT

I use a powerbronze screen its not an extra large touring screen and cost about £100 ish, then I added a 4 inch add on screen from amazon only cost about £20. I was a nightmare with the original screen but its great now no dirty air or noise, im 5ft 10. I can see over the screen which is how I like it. Cheers.

Never had a screen on any of my bikes, just whatever they came with and always down as far as they could go. Don't like the disturbed wind behind them and have done a lot of long rides with no problem. Just completed another 15k around Oz with the basic fly screen on the old R111.

The PowerBronze light screen that's 19" tall keeps my chest clean but streams airflow that creates too much wind in my helmet. I found a T-Rex that's 21" tall has hardware that looks to tilt the screen more aggressively and turns out a bit at the top similar to Idaho Red's screen. I really like the look of the PowerBronze in light smoke and will play with different length spacers in hopes of raising the draft a little more.

I don't have any clue as to the screen on my GT, it came with the bike. I don't get any buffeting or wind noise behind it.

That looks like a MADD stad screen . Had one on my 25 gt storm. MADD stad since went out of business. I bought a screen from Poland forget where. Fork mounted brackets but more of the large traditional type cruiser screen.

The fly screen the gt came with put the wind directly under my helmet so bad it would actually lift and tug back and I don’t care for chest blast at all.

Not a Madstad as they didn't make a recurve windscreen. I have a 24" Madstad that I can adjust up or down. I have it in the lower position now and have a shimmed the top screw mounts out to get the rearward slope I want. I made some nice lowers and have the Power Bronze hand shields on as well. I have a pretty good pocket around my chest and helmet and even better if I raise it up 2 inches. It doesn't look bad in my opinion and there is a balance between looking cool and enjoying the ride. At 79, I think the ship has sailed on looking cool, so I'm going for the ride. The bike is still cool anyway!
