What don't you like about your triumph wind shield

Hmmm, let's see...

Issues I have with windshields:

Often cause visual distortion...

Adversely affects field of vision...

Can cause dangerous buffeting, even tank slappers...

Adds unnecessary, extra weight...

Triumph's shields have an obtuse and pricey mounting system...

Triumph's shields are overpriced...

Triumph Flyscreen, WindVest windscreen, MRA windscreens MRA Motorcycle Windshields | TwistedThrottle.com
or Clearview's shield w/vent are the way to go, IMO.

I found a lot of buffeting until I added the lowers. They pretty much did away with it.
Don't like the looks of a windshield but love having it for long highway tours. It comes off when I'm riding in town or short blasts. The lowers were a PITA to take off and put on all the time so I've got some brackets fabbed up to make it a single piece with the screen like on the Touring.

I have a 2015 Touring. The stock shield is top quality, and I was hesitant on changing it because of the quality and appearance, but it is too short and too narrow. I am waiting on a Clearview. I have owned them on previous bikes, and they are top notch. I am adding two inches in height, and four inches of width. I am also getting the recurve on top which pushes the wind upwards more without being overly tall. I am also having them install the adjustable vent for a little air adjustability.
I'll have to swap out the brackets, but that's no biggie.

I vote clearview and there is a National Cycle list for the hardware in a few of the threads on here I will see if I can find it. It is the route I went for winter riding.

Found the list.

Adds up doesn't it? US$86.80 + postage. Probably US$100 all-up in USA and US$150 all-up for overseas shipment and then the Clearview screen on top about US$250, which is not even worth shipping to Australia from their website charges of well over US$500 freight alone.

Don't you love retirement and time to fiddle for-ever!

You thought US$250 was dear I was quoted over US$500 on top of any Clearview just for freight to Australia!!

These worked great on my 20" Roadster screen and has adjustability High/Low wide/extra wide mounting height/widths as well as different rubber pads for thick and thin screen plexi. Roadster 5/16" thick, I think yours is the thinner 1/4".
