triumph store closing down

I like the shops were you walk in and the smell of grease and coffee overwhelms you. No sharp looking females to be found. Only some fat broad with a inappropriate tattoo with the manners of a British bull dog to take your money after the work is done. Never been disappointment with work performed that was beyond my capability's. Sometimes if your lucky they may offer you a stale doughnut and a cup of burnt coffee.:roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:

Would you have complained loudly if the work was sub standard??? :sneaky::sneaky::whitstling:

I like those too. The one thing that usually exceeds my skill set is machine work. I like when I get a set of heads back and you can see the work that has been done. If I have the means and am lazy I'll take it to the guy people swear by. There is a guy near me named Harley Dave who many of my friends bring there Jap cruisers too. The guy is meticulous in whatever he works on. I'd be curious of his thoughts on the rocket.

Funny, we have a really old school shop nearby known as and owned by "Honda John". Been in the same location for over 40 years and now his son is taking the lead. I use them for oil and tire changes, lubing the splines and final drive fluid topping and such. Way more fair than any dealership pricing around and with Hondas, far more knowledgeable and capable, too.;)

Not sure what’s going on with the dealer near me. They were Triumph of Manayunk then triumph of Philadelphia now they are Quaker city Motorsports and now sell BMW’s They were triumph only and thay were dam good. I hope it stays that way!

That's a great shop, but I was surely disheartened about their adding BMW to a store that was previously 100% Triumph and nothing but Triumph.
