Triumph rocket iii 1157 led spinner

Anybody tried one of these? I just got one on ebay. Doesn't seem to bright but may compensate with the circular LED pattern.Braking looks good with all LES illuminated and flashing.

A friend of mine put one in his Valkyrie and found that it wasn't very bright. He removed it and stayed with the factory one.

Ive seen the product and vaguely recall they were somewhat inexpensive. Which immediately leads me to suspect the brightness. The best and brighter LED aren't cheap.

I had one on my Yama-haha... for about 5 minutes.

(1) They are terribly anoying to follow
(2) They don't put out any light whatsoever when the brakelight is 'on'

If you want a cutesy light on the back of your bike, there are plenty of others available instead of removing one of your major safety features.

If you aren't satisfied and want to try it anyway. Install it and then switch bikes with someone and follow them at night... then decide for yourself.
