Triumph in Memphis TN

I am working in Memphis right now so Saturday I decided to see if they were any triumph dealer near me and Google said they was one so I drive over to see what they had
When I got there found out they are no longer a triumph dealer which was a bummer the guy I talked to said that triumph wanted him to have twice as many bikes more than what he was selling and that he just couldn't afford to do that

They are making it hard for people to take long trips on a Triumph, if your bike breaks you are in big trouble since there will be no place to buy your parts, what in the world are they thinking? for this reason i will not buy another Triumph

Lupe at least you can still buy triumph and srstihave dealers around
But if you have a victory then u r in trouble no more dealers

Carry spare brake & throttle cables, brake pads, fuses, tool kit, tire plug & air pump - you wont need a dealership

Our brand new Street Triple is very close to being traded in. The wife is enjoying her new Can-AM Ryker and I don't need another naked sport bike, the SuperDuke has that role covered in spades.

I am thinking of getting a middleweight adventure touring, and it will not be a Triumph even though the new 1200 Scrambler looks good and would probably meet my needs well. Will most likely go BMW F 850 GS, BMW R9T Scrambler or Indian FTR 1200. Both Indian and BMW have better dealer networks than Triumph.

Agree 100%, my mini adventure bike is doing great, i bought this one in Houston about 3 years ago, @R3Tex was kind enough to pick me up at the airport and put me up for the night and the next morning the entire fimily kindly "escorted" me out of Texas

Looks like the escorting family had 'bleachers' to sit on and watch you ride until they had to get off your bike at the border.

If want a great dealer network you’ll have to buy a Harley. How’s the dealer support for tha Super Duke? I don’t recall seeing a dealer for them around here?

I was at the local MC show this weekend and in years previously Triumph had a corner of one building and brought a lot of bikes. This year they had a tiny booth and had a Bonneville and a Bobber, that's it. I wonder if it because they are having a financial crunch because I know those big spots cost a bundle of money. On the plus side I spun the wheel and hit one part at dealer cost. I think I am going to splurge and get a Primary TPS, dealer cost 88 dollars, standard price is about 140 dollars.

Never dreamed of buying a Truimph and expecting Customer support. Knew better from the start. That may be why you ride down the rode and very seldom see one or not at all. Networks are for the Novice. Sure Harley and Indian and a few other makes have some pretty nice showrooms and fancy talking folks up front but have you ever went back to the room and talked to the folks working on your bike? Most are in their early twenty's and dumber than ****. That is what separates the men from the boys. Buy a bike and play the game with support and dealerships that make you feel good. Hell if your lucky you can get a deal on a t-shirt. Keep talking makes me feel good. Ill stick with a bike that might require a bit of work on your own But if you have half a brain and a wrench can make it work. You take offence to my comments and that just make my argument even better. Some folks are more show than go. Others are more go than show. Either way good luck with your ride. No luck required here.
