The top tip is to leave all nuts loose until all pipes have been assembled and alligned. Only then tighten down the clamps and other brackets. In other words don't tighten them as you go. In one case I had to loosen the header pipes a tad too, to allow enough movement to set up the pipes.

My TORS didn't come with the asbestos inserts needed with all three replacement pipes. Used the ones out of the standard pipes. Mine were a bit tricky to get out without damaging them.

Don't know if this is true in every case....

I believe Taz is referring to the gaskets which are fairly cheap. I would order a set its easy to use the new ones. They are not asbestos just mesh material with solder built into them for sealing once they get hot. I would run a Tors tune on it as it will run slightly leaner. do the 12 minute tune also.

I'm an abnormal idiot. I changed the stockers out for the Raask slip ons I got. Took about 30 minutes.

How do they sound? Do you use the same tune as the TORS?

Here's the thread:

Currently I have just a 12 minute tune. Seems to run a bit stronger than before. I have noticed a little pinging when I roll on the throttle to overtake.
Might have been some crap gas. Might be the weather change. Might need a proper TORs tune.
