Guys I keep talking about the Michelin Scorcher. Solid tire and will grip the road. Ran the pirelli Night dragons on the Harley and was one of the worst tires i have ever tried. They sucked. Pirelli makes some good tires but the night dragons are pure $rap.

Besides they cn't be any worse than the Commander ll I ran from here to Mississippi. :p

C'mon, Steve, get over it. You had a bad/defective tire or it was improperly mounted.

The radial Commander II (140 75/17) is an excellent tire.

What about Dunlops D404s? I hear good things about them but my Honda VTX ate them for lunch! No longevity whatsoever. I don't suspect the performance would be any better on my R3.

The only Dunlop I would buy would be the American Elite.

Ran one American Elite - twas average stiction - poor wear.
Dunlop D251 is a very good tire.
I ran many on my V2K and they worked well.
Sadly, they're not available in R3R sizes. :(

Have not bought a dunlop tire since discovering Michelin.;);););););)

I'll try another . . . someday.
I have two I want to run before I do though, the Pirelli Night Dragon and the Shinko 011 Verge.
