Time to change tires? Need advice

Even the cost saving would seem overstated. Robbing hp and torque also means more money on fuel each and every tank. Perhaps just a little but it would add up over the life of the tyre. I've also been told by people using car tyres that the front tyre will scrub out faster.
Then there's the discomfort of having to lean your bike just to go straight if there's any sort of camber - which there is on virtually every road. This I've seen so i know it's so - but the laws of physics dictate it anyway.

As I can see going Dark is not as comfortable as using bike tires maybe I ll have to try as is not expensive to buy a car tire ....thank you for your advice again

In response to my own question: Can anybody tell me the widest, meatiest, best tire i can stuff under the Rocket Touring??

I really love the Rocket III data, but mine is a touring bike. I won't be getting clocked on the track checking my ET's.

..and Money is not an issue for me. I buy tires just outside the factory doors, before they get shipped around the world to the people who mark them up and sell them to you... In fact...DOES ANYBODY WANT SOME FREE MOTORCYCLE TIRES..HOT N' FRESH OUT OF THE MOLD??

If you're running the 180 spec rear you can fit a 205 Car Tire with narry a hiccup.

Sorry for the miscue. You can go as wide as your swingarm allows. If the 205 CT works, so will a MC tire. You could go as high as a 215 if the swingarm and fender cooperate. The rim diameter should not be a factor (a 17 inch tire fits a 17 inch rim yadayada).

Exedra Max

I'm currently running the Excedra Max V rated radial on my '09 R3T. The compound works well and handles well. I also put a V rated Excedra Max on the front. The big ol' girl feels much lighter and traction is better than the Metz. Marty

I am running Bridgestone Excedra Max 240/55R16 on my Roadster. I would be interested in buying direct if it is legal...and not a factory second or blemish tyre.
