Thinking I have to have a Rocket III in my toy box.. Questions coming

Sounds like your patience paid off!

I can't imagine sharing my beast with anyone though
Heck, I don't even like to let my wife ride it and I steal her triple all the time :D

I just got lucky, didn't want another bike in the shed to take care of, partner to keep it was the only way I'd consider it. As for sharing, like I tell most people, you just don't have enough toys!:D

RockinHP, Triumph has upgraded the front engine guards from their original offering. There are at least 2 aftermarket guards available that have good structural integrity, one is domestic and reasonably priced and the others are German and somewhat pricey.

Others here can provide you with more details...:)

Got good engine guards on her bike and bought new ones from triumph for mine when I bought bike. Thanks for the info, probably put seat on mine first.

Showed the bike to a good friend that's a machinist, he can weld a little more material into the mount and make a little gusset in those angles. Stiffen it right up.
