Don't know yet. I've got all the tires listed that you fine gentlemen have mentioned, so I'll see what the "one" store that agreed to put a car tire on a motorcycle rim has. You get up waay to early in the morning:D

245/?/16

CADfather, What is the middle number? You only mentioned the 245 and I know the rim is 16inch.

Also I see you are from Georgia. I hope those pesky Russians retreat soon.:D

LOL, me too they are quite loud what with all the bombing and shooting, oh wait that wasn't bombing, I got gas.:p The Toyo that I've got is a 245/50-16, it is the Proxes T1R I believe. It has been a helluva tire and although it has rubbed, it was only when I was 2-up and hit a rather large bump in the road. And hack I weigh 350lbs by myself or at least I did. BTW I only paid $104 for that tire and I mounted it myself.

Well I got the Bridgestone Potenza mounted today and went out for a 180 mile test ride and I think I'm going to like it. Seems to handle pretty good to me. It takes a little more imput on the corners but not much worse than a flat bottomed Metz. The center stand may have to go though, I heard it grind a little on a 20 mph curve:confused: that I took at about 35. I wound up with the 225/55R-16. Thanks for all the imput from both the "Dark Siders" and the "Lite Siders":D
