Sump plate types and suitability?

I picked this up as a spare for Au$90 (US$70) today. The sump plugs alone must be worth that!

I presumed being a late model and black it should be fine for my '10 model Roadster. Interestingly it was cast in 2008 a couple of years earlier than the product label which would suggest an early cutoff for R3 sumps that fit the Roadster.

How come I never find steals like that? It retails for just short of $260! Good find.

Took me a while but finally figured out you meant the previous label under the one in the 1st photo.

It is upside down and appears very similar to the top one with a bar code in the middle and similar font text commencing underneath the barcode

can you make the date out on it. you could be looking at a slight part number change in 2010 but the same part and was re labeled so it did not just sit on the shelf because every ordered the new part number. There has only been two sumps for the engine since 04. same with oil tanks early models were different but I believe it was just the fitting sizes of the supply and return.

Thanks for the clarification re changes to oil tank and sump.

T1230135 on the top label with Nov 2010 date is the same number as cast in with the 2008 date. Maybe the first sticker was just upside down so re-stickered.
