I bought my bike 5/29/2013 and the hard bags do not seem to be right the dealer has replaced the seals but they still are had as hell to close and do not all wats keep the warter out it is a 2013 moldel does any one else have this same prolblem I'm to the point I want them to try a new set dealer does not want to do that but it should be right or am I dreaming

All I know is the have messed with it 4 times now and it is the same lol I guess because it is not a bmw they dont care seems like thats all they want to mess with even though they carry triummph and victory bmw is all they seem to be about

My local dealer is the same way.. Luckily, LoneStar BMW/Triumph in Austin actually does seem to care about Triumph, so I take my bike there..

I have a 2008 R3T and I have to put lid down and give a push to close it.......I can hear air escaping when I do this.......Guessing its sealing because of sound..........whats your situation like when closing the lid?

mutt

I have a 2010 R3T, closing the hard bags has always been a problem, just poor design coupled with poor workmanship, I think. Rubber seal has started coming unglued a couple times on one side and been reglued, the other side the seal came completely off recently and is laying in the bottom of the bag waiting to be reglued with some weatherstrip cement I picked up at the auto store. Slamming it is not the way to go, FWIW, seems to bounce, I've found closing it, then giving a firm push seems to work most of the time.

no air comming out slam it push it hell you got to beet it into place and they said oh its good oh well it does close just sucks when your standing there for 5 min tring to close it lol

Everyone rips on Harley but out of all my bikes the Harley Dealers kick ass with service. Milwaukee must have a big thumb on dealers. Only time I was high/ dry was sturgis, and had 100 bikes ahead of me. I did get to cut in front of the other 300 bikes because I had a factory extended service plan. Best $300 I spent at purchase.Wheel bearing started going out, and they are the sealed type.
My local Triumph dealer is great when I have issues but they are kind of slow on routine maintenance. It is like they are very busy, and time is on the short side. They want you drop your bike off, and then return to pick it up instead of having a time for service.
