Fair enough. Just so I don't catch too much flaming, I have no use for a ******rocket, personally. I got it via a trade for one of my old Harleys. The fella traded me his 07 Ninja, riding gear and cash for my '89 Springer. It took some selling effort on my part, but the end result was most rewarding. I did ride a few times while I had it, however, and can tell you they're scary fast.

But yes, I'm much happier to be cruising along on a Triumph.

I ride with a Ninja rider from my neighborhood sometimes. I can easily outrun him.

Ok, it is a 250 Ninja.

That was an interesting comparison unfortunately your not really comparing apples to apples. A Streetglide or Roadking might have changed you train of thought. Three things the Rocket has over these bikes are torque, power and a unique design.. I enjoy riding them both. There was a time i was a die-hard Suzuki fan i had more fun on my 1976 GT 750 i thought i died and went to heavan the day i picked her up. I know where there's one in an ole timers garage i'm half thinking of making him an offer on it.... I guess there's a lot of factors that come into play when one decides on his or her ride.
