stator replacement

I am at the point where I would think I should be able to lift the frame off of the engine, but it is not separating. Well, it has slightly since the holes for the engine mounting bolts are a little out of alignment now, but when I try to lift the frame the engine is going with it. The swing arm is off, the rear engine mounting bolts (4) are out, and the front engine mounting bolt is loosened. I expect there are a few things I will still need to remove or loosen as the frame separates from the engine, but those should not be keeping the physical separation from starting. If anyone who sees this has any thoughts, they are welcomed.

I think you’re gonna have to remove foot peg rails and the hard rear brake line should come off it will get bent if you raise still attached,you’re close
 
I had to step away from my stator replacement project for a while because life got in the way, but I am back at it, albeit at my slow pace.

@Kevin frazier -- your tip about taking the front engine mount bolt out completely was what I was missing in terms of getting the frame to swivel off of the engine. Thank you.

I got the stator out today and am awaiting delivery of the new unit before I begin putting her back together. Just thought I would provide an update.

Yup burnt coils, just asking what replacement did you order?
 
You’re welcome I was just passing on what @warp shared with me, @Rocket Scientist suggested i check torsional damper bearings to make sure they were installed correctly for oil flow, mine were, looks like you have same year and model so you’re probably good also on that

Initially I ordered an OEM replacement through Hermy's, but they told me it would be up to four weeks to get it. So, I cancelled it and ordered one through Rick's Motorsport Electrics. [ADMIN NOTE: on that website one must enter "2010" is the model year in order to see "Rocket" as a model under Triumph street bike (their parlance)]

@DEcosse had given them a thumbs up, so I thought that would be good. Less money, too.
