Starting issues

Had an intermittent start button when cold. Relay would click but wouldn't crank. But, If I hit the start button enough times, it would crank / start and, once started, it usually worked all day. I had a corroded start relay that they ultimately fixed under warranty. That said, the first service visit they told me it was bad connections, then, on the second visit, that I had a weak battery. Third time in service was the charm. Note: Usually only the relay logic is routed through the transmission. If it starts with a boost, it's not the logic circuit. If the battery and connections have been verified, I would inspect the gizzards of the start relay. I think it's quite accessible.

so when you rock the bike and and the bike starts the problem is the wire that comes through the ignition has a problem (does not carry enough volts/amps) and when you rock the bike you align the starter and flywheel teeth and it will start.
@Rocket Scientist has an extra relay that he uses to furnish bat power to the starter solenoid. hope i have this correct.
can do research to find this info
