Have you considered a turbo? Could use the CES exhaust, mount under the back of the motor, use fan cooled intercooler, hidden of course, and make torque and hp.
If you aren't up to the task, I might be persuaded provided you gave me enough time and you are willing to go the distance.

The more I ponder this the more I'm thinking that even as cool as a Supercharged Rocket might be, maybe a Turbo Carpenter Rocket might be the ticket. To refine what I'm looking for a little more I want low RPM torque, and I don't want it to go away until I either hit the limiter or run out of balls. In short I want it all. If I could license an alcohol funny car powered Rocket for street use I would be looking into how to cram the motor on my Rocket. I want the absolute meanest, most in-your-face bike on the planet. Ideally that will run on pump gas and never break down

If a carpenter Rocket is not enough then you must be a lot crazy.
If you really are that crazy tune the engine, bung a S/C on it too (TTS kits can usually be picked up cheap)
My first effort gave 350hp & 300ftlb lots more is available but to quote Pars Larson "beware the demon gods of power"

I think the carpenter 270 should be more than enough for most crazy people, it must be seriously fast.

YEP the 270 mod will run 8 second 1/4 miles @157 mph and we have a customer that has 32,000 miles and no problems not even a valve adustment needed just oil changes

In the end I will probably make my decision on the fact that I prefer to ride far more than turn wrenches...which probably means the bike will be going to NJ at some point

YEP and as you know and youve seen me roadtesting the 270 modded Silverback for a couple of thousand miles to insure reliability and streetability
