Went for a ride out to canungra village today. Met this person on a 2009 hayabusa . I always thought iwas an average rider through the twisties .we travelled fairly hard up over beechmont range and up Henry Roberts and over tambourine mountain ,over all a good hours hard riding .iwash pretty well using just about every thing I knew just to stay with this hayabusa .i also have a slightly modified z750 I usually use for these occasions ,but the r3 was what I was on so I had to make do .over the years I've ridden with some good riders ,this person was right up there with the best if not the best I've ever ridden with.she is a 40 year old women .when I was chasing her not one error ,god knows what she was thinking when she was chasing me

Good sh!t Pete .. bet she was impressed. Not easy to stay anywhere near a Busa if the rider knows what they're doing .. you did us Rocket riders proud mate

PS tearasing through Beechmont on a Saturday is risky business .. be a road the coppers would be looking out for bikes !!

This lady rider sure enjoyed twisting the throttle , I actually pulled away up to 140 kph then this missile went flying past .talk about deflating a blokes ego ,but it was an enjoyable ride , her partner comes home next week and he rides a Honda black bird I think they call them ,so I suppose we will do it all again

I had the XX Blackbird and it was an amazing bike... at 164HP and 91 ft lbs. of torque it was extremely fast... power to weight would raise that to an equivalent 240/127... a very fast and very smooth bike.
