If not all you have to do is have the risers marked so when you loosen them and rotate them forward you can return to the same location when you are done.
I need more lift and back with my short arms.
It would do no good on the R3R unless I can get the bars back,
About 4" up and 4" back will suffice, I reckon.
Bull,
if 4" isn't enough,
you can always put harley risers on it.
Mine are 5" up and 5" back.
Accompanied by a set of Road King bars which are more comfortable to me..
only thing I had to have made, was a new brake line from the banjo bolt up.
Here's a pic of my setup.
It's different, but then isn't "That" what it's all about?
Making her your own....
Barrnet will make custom cables for you. I do not see where the Rox risers would not work but remember you also might have to lengthen the electronic cables. This could most likely be done under the tank by adding to the pig tails coming from the mian harness. I would just cut the wire connectors off the harness and add wire between them. Tis will be under the tank and in a dryer environment.
Excellent suggestion, Warp. I did something similar when installing the Apes on my other motor. I even staggered the soldered and shrink wrapped connections to facilitate sliding all the wires through the bars.
Thanks,

Hey Skip,
You be an Okey! So, don't sweat that being different stuff. ;-}
You done good - BUT - I can't abide having the wires hanging outside.
It just offends and hackles my OCD! ;-}

TRIIICK,
FYI - I am informed by the seler of those T-Bars that they do not work on a Roadster because of the instruments mounting. Guess it's different than on a Rocket standard or classic.
Too bad - I liked them.

i have mounted rivco risers and the thunderbike bars on my 2011 roadster, the only 2 things i had to do was make a new bracket for the instruments (not that hard) and reroute the original cables (brake and clutch)
the thunderbike bar is not as wide as the original, so maybe when putting on just the rivco risers you have to get new cables.

got the thunderbike bars on my '11 roadster, and like they state, the bracking which comes with the bars are not good for the roadster.
i made up a bracket of my own. even tho the bracket must be fabbed up, i wouldn't want it any way else anymore, those bars are great!
in this pic you can see how much the tach should be moved:
in this pic you see where they end up if you make a bracket like i did:
this is a pic of the bracket i made out of 1" thick plastic,
1= holes drilled thru the block to bolt bracket onto risers.
2= holes drilled and wiretapped to bolt tach onto bracket
i used flatheaded hex bolts 4 all bolts i replaced.
