The mech at the Austin dealer says he has my bike running great now. He found everything on the throttle bodies loose, including the rubber pieces that connect them to the head. (from the work my local dealer did) He tightened everything up, adjusted the throttle cable, and both TPS's and it's supposedly running good. He sounds like a young guy, and was surprised when he took my Rocket out for a test ride.. lol Apparently he mostly works on stock Rockets, and while mine isn't wild, it is pushing the extra power from the Jardines and Dyno tuned tune in the PC-III. He said this thing pulls, it really pulls.. lol Haven't mentioned the power some of you guys are pushing.. lol

Anyway, they are awaiting o-rings for my oil tank leak. I figured I go ahead and have them fix that while it's there. However, I may just go get it and clean it up and replace those when I get to it. It doesn't leak when it's being ridden regularly.. Glad to be close to having my Rocket back on the road though!

I rode my Rocket with leakey o rings for several thousand miles and the oil never reached the garage floor, then one day they gave up the ghost and I had an honest to goodness certified Triumph puddle of oil on the floor.

Glad your bike is running well now!

Don't need a "real" Triumph oil leak.. lol I will probably let them go ahead and replace the o-rings, since the bike is there. I just don't have the time. Was hoping to have it for the Harvest Classic at Luckenbach, TX weekend after next. I always win something up there.. lol. Can't wait to get her back though!

see you there

If I get to go, which I should.. I will most likely be on a blue and white Bonneville. I doubt my Rocket will be back in time for this year..

Rode the bike home from Austin today! Yeah!.. It runs as good as ever!!!!!! Kudos to Jeremy at LoneStar Triumph in Austin. Cost me a chunk of change i labor, but they got it right! I'll just look at it as "I didn't have to buy tires this year.. so that money went into this problem".. Now to start adding to that 63K+ miles on the odometer!
