turbo and blower virginia boys--hanging together. that's unusual. good post hombre--2 years--w/ all you got invested--i'd go to braided and replace all of them. --john

I may just do that. Wish the water pump and radiator had threaded flare fittings though.

I think Britman should turbo his R3... a pair of FA R3s hunting in Central Virginny would keep the squid population in check.

Big HP means big heat... I've got no doubt that I stressed this hose severely when doing step tests to 7250 RPM. The top radiator hose looks vulnerable as well, so I'm looking for braided hose to adapt. Did you know that all the R3 hoses have ends with 2 different sizes (not just the fat one on the front of water pump)? I suspect that replacement braided will be impossible to find.

Nobody seems to make braided hose with different size ends... now looking for "slip-on" sheathing. BTW, the top "head to radiator" hose is on back order from Triumph... maybe other failures out there?
