2012 R3 Roadster Cam cover gasket change.

I've had a leaking gasket with 20.000 miles, and replaced it, finding most of the bolts fairly loose.
Just in case someone wants to do it by himself here I leave some pics, it took two hours to replace it.
Remove instruments screw and tilt them forward.
Remove intake manifold cover (2 screws one in front, othe in the back)
Remove the tank screw, lif the tank to allow to get the supporting stem from its brackets at right side, lean the tank on the stick.
Remove intake plastic tube over the cam cover, disconnecting sensors.
Remove spark plugs cables, and the 2 colis from the right side (the othe coil doesn't need to be removed)
Loose cam cover bolts, and take the cover out to the right side (have to do some manouvers but it goes out without any other removal).
Change gasket and reverse operation.
Adjust at 10Nm evenly.

Don't forget the small bead of RTV silicone sealant in the 4 "Ds" aka where they drill through the head to make cam journals.
And check valve clearances while in there!
Yes Sir! you're completly right and I've applied the silicone coat over the D-beds. Rgds.
 
I always take the time to check my valve clearance when the covers off. Also, you don't have to remove the instrument cluster to lift the tank (at least, I didn't).

Typical location for gasket failure. Rt side above #1 exhaust port.

Would it also be a good idea to use blue lock tite on the cam cover bolts? Seems like these bolts loosen frequently.
