If you quantifiably increase breathing on one end of an ICE you need do the same on the other end for best results. And then re-jetting or EFI mapping often need be done.
Aesthetically; Three chrome capped K&N's look 'classic'; but the 2780s under the bear claw would better avoid random vandalism.
Performance & simple serviceability; A single, conical K&N at front a 'well designed' plenum.
Absolute DIY servicing simplicity; The OEM set up from Triumph with either paper or K&N filter.
