My bike came with the Tsukayu hard saddlebags but they render the rear foot pegs useless as they are over top of them. Has anyone moved their rear pegs forward? I see a company called Rivco (I think) sells bars for moving them forward. Has anyone used these and if so what was the result?
Thanks

Not the pegs, but I have put on the rear floorboards, that move them a couple of inches down and forward. They made the passengers more comfortable.

Or somthing like this works

That might work Warp. What brand are they and approx how far does it move it forward? From the picture I am guessing about 8 inches (Just kidding, it looks to be about 3 or 4 inches)

The Rivco ones are great I fitted them and some Rivco foot board for wife and she loves them the relocation bars are adjustable to different angles and very well made

This shows the boards in the up position out of the way when she is not on there, they have rubber nonslip strips on the otherside and Ann never complains but any discomfort whereas before she would say that she was uncomfortable on the original pegs and also Kurykin ones I got for her

I think there old kuryakin had to use that style because of the corbin bag mounts. The rivco ones are great just won't work with the beatle bags. They bring the feet 4 inches forward.

Thanks HansO & Warp. When I get the bags put back on I am going to take some measurements to see what I need. Glad to hear the Rivco products are a viable option.

Gday. I moved my rear footpegs forward, got the Rivco parts for the rear floorboards and adapted them to the pegs, was a bit of a pain. The reason I did this was for my wife she couldn't get comfortable or brace herself during heavy braking, she's taller like myself. Had to make some spacers and pins up to move them out past the chrome covers and set the correct height she wanted. After this she stopped riding on the back:rolleyes:.

You can see the spacer on the pic below.
