I'm ready to start putting some accessories on my '12 Roadster over the winter.

Looking at adding a windshield for the winter months and trying to decide between the Triumph Roadster screen or the sport screen. I've never been a big fan of the "big ol windshield" on bikes but though either of these would work. Thoughts or experiences would be great.

Also, I'm wanting to add some iso-grips but everything I can find on here is from last year or older. Do the new Kurkyan grips allow the use of the end weights on the roadster handlebars? Do I still have to shave down the existing throttle sleeve or have they improved the installation of the grips since then?

Thanks for your help!

Mate if you're after a screen to keep the cold away go for the biggest one Triumph offer.. the others just dont offer the protection. I reckon if you're going to run a screen, might as well be one that works.. just my opinion.

I've been riding Dad's Thunderbird a time or two in the cold. He's screen keeps so much wind away that I can't get enough air flow through my vents to clear the fog on my windshield. Looking for something to just help to take the air blast off my chest at interstate speed.

Doesn't Triumph only make three sizes for the Roadster? The "roadster", the "summer", and the sport?

Don't listen to the Scot. He lives in Florida and doesn't know what cold is. ;)

As far as the Kury grips. No, you don't have to shave the sleeve. I forgot the part number but they are ones made for a Honda Shadow 1100 I believe. Continue to search and find the correct part number before buying.

I have the kewl-locks on the end of mine to serve as end weights.

Thanks tdragger - I believe I've found the ones you're talking about. I'll let everyone know.

I like the idea of the kewl-locks... I have an Arai helmet and will rarely leave it anywhere without worring about it finding a way to another house - brotherhood or not.
