Triumph Roadster 2010
I just fitted the Ramair filter kit and removed the old air tubes and stuff . Did Triumph start with these and build a bike around them LOL . All i need now is some fine weather so i can get it to the tuner and have it tuned and dyno done .:)

G'day Dave, is it as bad as the throttle body set up on the 109s, I took one look at my rocket set up when I put the K&N in, popped the new filter in and put the lid back on the filter box ,and made a note to leave well enough alone, I used to suffer from Tinkeritus (the urge to tinker with things) but have cured myself after a few disasters,:cautious:

Ken most likely easier than the Boulevard but still a pain in the a$$ , Bruce i can't even get out for a ride its pissen down here at the moment , but i will be booking her in next week for sure .

You need to move north, starting to look like a drought up here. The odd cool morning down to about 5c but cloud free blue sky days around 24c. Haven't had any serious rain this year.

Just picked up the bike from the dyno runs good but still got the pop ****en . He said he tryed a few different things but still there , on the short ride back to work doesn't seem as bad but time will tell .

we rode into the footy today on the freeway bike feels smooth at 100kph , it feels like the torque is not down low like the standard pipes maybe the 3into1 has a different curve to it

Do you get any intake noise Dave? I'm interested as I just removed my intake to sync the throttle butterflys & OMG that intake is one of the worst designed pieces of rubbish I have ever worked on. Will go to K&N's or Ramair setup as soon as possible me thinks.

I asked the same question a while back Roughy .. was told the induction noise was as bad as the short under-claw triple K&N filters. You are right about that 'plumbing' it's a nightmare of a design.

I think I could put up with a bit of noise. Those plastic housings really don't seem to seal well getting the angles right to get them together is very poor. It's surprising because 3 pod filters must cost less than that un-godly arrangement to manufacture best put it on Mitch's thread of things to change on a rocket.
