Anything after 8 it will be like throwing a hotdog down a hallway
Well, it does have that effect. I am so very sorry that I was out of the loop so to speak for this years festivities and a little disappointed that Lupe' still has left overs . I SHALL be back in production VERY SOON and I will be gradually getting away from Apple Pie and work toward Blueberry, Strawberry, Cherry and Peach pie. I will also be whompin up Hard Sparkling Cider this fall. Thats right, bubbly hard cider from an artisan (me) and if I can buy or have bee's that work hard enough without the bears tearing them to up I hope to enough honey make some MEAD next year. I also wish to try to my hand at Absinthe and I do have access to the wormwood oil that lends itself to the hallucinogenic properties that folks speak of.
My Apple Pie is quite different than the others offerings by the way. I used filtered cider and mulled it over low heat with nutmeg, brown sugar, real vanilla, etc and cooled it completely before blending with my rocket fuel and then tossing in a cinnamon stick when "bottled". A very extensive and time consuming process and expensive I might add so I will let the posers have at it because they don't take the time for all of that and honestly I don't think most palates are discerning enough for me to continue to try to impress the old taste buds. CLEAN and CLEAR is my claim to fame and I do take care just like a pharmaceutical plant because we ingest this stuff. Small batch from someone you know, moi . I was taught by one of the best in Southeastern Kentucky that ever made a mash and a run, my Grandpa Johnny.
As my real life family dwindles to a small flickering flame I fear that I am the end of the line for what we do and have done. I will probably be the end of our line sadly.
Purity and quality are not hastily made. See ya on the next go round or if I make a run up Thunder Road to a tree stump near you Till then, me and Bocephus will be high on the mountain. Do you ever think of me ?
