I can't believe Triumph can't figure this out! Take it to a real technician and preferably one with a dyno. I would not try to fix it with any "add on" device as you would just be masking the real problem, but you do have a real problem.
@cj jeeper I had a problem with a high idle due to road grime ruining the Teflon/plastic washers in the stepper motor and the front end of the fuel injection assembly. Dealer could not fix without replacing the whole assembly ,$2,500. I ended up buying an old one from a crashed bike and cannibalized the needed parts for my system; fixed it. Mileage came back up to where I was new around 32-34 MPG.

Thanks....I remember the stepper motor being one of the things they worked on......I also remember one of the mechanics saying he thought it might be the front end of the fuel injection so I'll ask again about that...
Guys please do not forget the basics when it comes to internal combustion engines even one as ugly as the Rockets your plugs are a wealth of information let them guide you, remove a few and post a picture on here I bet you two bob they are pretty black.
