Cops asked some dumb questions, It's 30 degrees why are you wearing a leather vest? He replied I always do when I ride. I think my answer would have been a bit more sarcastic. As for how long you have had your bike, where do you work, where have you been, do you come to Beenleigh often. I wouldn't have answered any of them. Might have gone pear shaped for me but then again I wouldn't have been recording them.

Same here .. I only have an on/off switch when dealing with coppers. Play dumb and shut-up or go ballistic. Admit I don't really have a lot of time for al lot of these Social Club wanta-be's .. a lot of them seem to get off running around pretending to be something they're not.

The clip is playing now. Last night I got an error message saying it was being modified.
What a complete waste of time and taxpayers money. It should be shown at schools and to as many kids as possible. Might be the only way to show the politicians the damage they're doing. It's one thing to check up on someone but to deliberately set out to inconvenience them is pathetic. The laws are draconian but add the small minds of Qld police and you get a disgrace.

Given the obvious hatred of motorcycles regardless of who rides them, maybe every biker who can should get out in a car in peak hour and choke the bloody roads. Make a better point than a protest ride.

Read where the cops are harassing the Vietnam Veterans MC again. Pulling them up and wanting to take photos of their tattoos etc. This is after Police apologised for sending 20 Maxima taskforce cops to their clubhouse and sending some of those present home. The Vets are not a prescribed club yet they are still getting stopped and harassed. Police big shots keep assuring everyone that "honest law-abiding riders have nothing to fear" Really is insulting to everyone's intelligence to expect anyone to believe it's anything but blatant harassment, especially when the Vets back patches clearly identify who they are.

The police commissioner was on 4BC this morning, he apologized to the rider who was held up for nearly an hour but felt the police weren't harrassing or intimidating. He said if your wearing a vest with any kind of embroidery on it front or back expect the same.
