pops thru the intake

out of curiosity what value did your dyno guy put in the 0% throttle column of your fuel table in your PCV, I have been playing with mine and found it has improved with a value of 10 but I noticed that Mitch's is running a value of 20 and I was contemplating that as my next evolution of the Hanso AFR Table map

If you get the Tune right you can remove the popping for sure. I have found when a Tech doesn't no how or why they say they all do it. not true. Adding fuel in right spot will fix it up. It may not be a quick fix i worked on my tune for some time .

Obviously sport bikes don't do it with a blip of the throttle (I miss that quick reaction time). Is it truly the tune or the TBs?

I use the blip on downshift to take the shock load off the drive line also makes a smoother ride for Saori, I did have popping issues but thr PCv-AT has eliminated it

I don't understand much about this stuff Hanso but I'll try my best.On the air/fuel graph on the dyno print outthe lines start at 1200 rpm and on the air/fuel level it starts at 13 rises steadilly to 14 at 3000 rpm then falls steadilly to just above 13 at 5800 rpm. I hope this is what you wanted to know. My R3R with standard headers straight into one muffler first run 131.46hp - 152.48 torque. and alot of overun pop. After a few runs I ended up with 136.97hp - 154.61 torque and all of the pop exept for a superbike like bang at 1800 rpm on overun. witch appears to be to do with the pipe and not air/fuel mix. The dyno bloke said it was caused by cold air getting sucked back into the pipe and igniting so we tried disrupting the air flow behind the pipe on decel and we could stop it poping. So I came home and tack welded 100 ml long peice of exhaust tube on the pipe. It fixed the poping so Igot a reverse cone made up to go on the end of my pipe this looks better than the exhaust tube but still pops a bit at 1800 rpm but I'm learning to live with it.

the Fuel table sits below the AFR table. I was just thinking that I might have a look what they put in the fuel table, If you would not mind can you save the map and send it to me as an attachment in a E-mail to me hans_ann@bigpond.net.au , sorry I am just a curioys basterd, My bike is running great but if Can get samples of others dyno tune I might be able to create the "Super Tune"............. he boo ha ha (meant to be a sinister spooky crazy mans laugh)

Will get Julie to do email beyond my area of expertise. I'm an outside person work with my hands and still learning about these new fangled computer interweb twitface things.

Julie tried 3 times to send email last night got bounced back. Julie said email address must be wrong.

Julie just sorted it out.

thanks you sent me your dyno read out what I was asking is if you connect the lap top to your PCV select get map once you have done that Save and name it and send as it as an attachment to me
