Diesel is an oil...so not a risk really except for some fouling but that's only if you keep it running. Think two stroke. May smoke a bit but will be fine.

I did that Neville and held it at 2,000 rpm. Lotsa white smoke. Then, thinking more is better, revved to 3,000 / 3,500 .. all hell broke loose. Backfiring, missing, knocking.
Would the plugs be fouled now? I’ll need a mechanic to pull them for me.
My car mechanic suggested a litre of touluine (?) from his muscle car. He did not give it to me, so i started up anyway.... but didn’t think to shake the tank up first.
Doesn’t diesel sink below ulp? Idiot me probably just fed the remaining dieso in ..
