I second that motion ....
What's a "54 plate rocket 3"?

must be here in the u.k. "54" plate is the year on the number plate (licence plate ). it shows what year the vehicle was registered for the road. "54" = 2004. don't ask its complicated , but every vehicle licenced for the road in the u.k has this age identification as part of its number plate.:(

So another one of you U.K.Blokes huh?
GOOD, Good, Good.
we mericans love mingleing with the British.
Heck, we even like some of your music....
So an '04 Rocket III,
Now that I understand,
So WELCOME to the site old chap....
All kidding aside, there's a wealth of information here,
the search button is your friend for sure,
and the folks here are as downhome as they come...
Met a bunch of them and haven't met one yet I didn't like...
Plus, they ride like they party,
HARD ;)

Swerv thro a set of TORS on her its probably the right noise level for you. The jardines are nice but pretty loud.

Thats the route I went. I have heard the Jardines in person and they was a little to loud than what I wanted. (2010 Roadster)

Maybe try removing the cat first and see how you like it before getting pipes.

I'm with Canberra on this. My '06 Classic came to me with D&D 3 into 2 slip ons and they were a bit too loud for me. With the stock pipes and cat back on they were too quiet. When I did the cat delete, however, it brought back just enough rumble for my tastes, and my ears are happy too.
