Tors and cat delete

Just had tors and cat delete installed. Major popping on decel. Looks like the posts here are going to be a great help. Maybe going to buy tuneboy, try dougl's 20050-2 map, and the pciii o2 sensor delete (xtra hp in 1-3 would be nice). Am I on the right track?

Also, a potentially stupid question. My tors on the right hand side don't point in the same direction! The top pipe points more to the rear of the bike than the bottom one, which points more outward. Seems like Triumph pipes ought to line up. Before I bust the dealer for this, is this normal for tors?

Thanks for any input,
dongee

Are you saying the bottom one sticks out? I think they should be in the same vertical plane.

I just looked at my TOR's. The bottom one on the right DOES stick out.

Right, I looked at a stock R3 and, sure enough, the right hand pipes point in different directions! Just appears more obvious with the tors.

BTW, another couple of questions. I have tor's and cat delete. I am planning on using dougl's 20050-2 tune.

Does using the k&n under seat filter improve performance, and would it require a different tune?

With the latest version of tuneboy, do I need to plug up the o2 sensor?

Thanks,
Dongee

The K&N doesn't require a different tune. I put one in. Hard to say how much difference it made. This is my tune with the L tables modified to reduce popping:

I asked Wayne about disconnecting the O2 sensor under the side panel as well as unchecking the box. He said to disconnect it.

Where did you end up getting your TuneBoy?

I ordered it on-line from Tuneboy. At $529 AU, its about $459 U.S. They're selling for $409.99 from newr3.com. This sounds like a good deal considering that the dollar has recently tanked. I would contact both for availability.
