Pipe differences

Anyone know how to tell the difference between stock pipes and the only other Triumph pipes available. At least as far as I know.
I received a set as a gift, they look exactly alike.
So far I've been told that the pipes might be silencers, which I really don't want.

Any and all help appreciated. I hate to get them on and have the same sound.

Look at the part number on them.

Cross reference the part number on the world of triumph site and you can tell if they are the stock pipes or the Triumph Off Road pipes. The TORs pipes are a good bit louder, but not extreme and do flow considerably better for R3Rs than stock, though, the limiting factor is the headers more than the mufflers.
 
I'm pretty sure the part#on tors starts with a 9 and stock with a 2.

If I remember right, TORS will have "Off Road Use Only" stamped on the bottom somewhere. Also the bore at the end is a little bigger than stock. At least the ones for the Roadster are.
