Has anyone experienced coolant leaks at either the water pump cover, or a plug on the right side rear of the engine? Well I have both. One is an o-ring and the other is a crush washer. It seems strange to have something with only 15,xxx miles on it to have coolant leaks already. Parts are on order to fix. I'm Not looking forward to dumping the coolant. I might switch to Engine Ice coolant. I Ran it in my Honda VTX and it did keep the big girl cooler on the hottest days.

I would suggest you check all hose clamps first and make sure they are secure.. I had coolant leaks and thought the radiator was cracked or holed.. secured all hoses by retightening and never saw coolant again.

Have you ever had the coolant changed at the service intervals ? If so maybe the same crush washer and "o" ring has probably been used. You are doing the right thing by changing them as does my service mechanic. Same goes for the sump drain washers, change them every time and dont re use. Hope this helps.

I always use permatex on the water pump cover. Not sure what you talking about on the right rear of the engine even though I have had my engine aprat 3 times I will have to look. As for the crush washers for oil and fuel line I have 60,000 miles on mine and have never changed them. Triumph does state to though. you can save the coolant if you do not want to spend the cash on it.
