Are the bearings only available from Triumph, or can they be sourced from aftermarket suppliers.
What was the problem with second gear.
The machine shop has said there is enough meat to cut and fit a new face for a stainless insert to mount a new internal bearing onto.
They also rcommend a complete strip down, to wash out any debris that may be located within engine. Which is well out of my league of mechanical knowledge, it was a bloody nightmare getting the motor out my son and I are still not speaking.
