Oil Filters in Australia

not doubting you but just double check it is a full syn not just a part with Esthers in it, I am not saying your dealer would lie to you (is e trying to sell the EXS or EXP) but I had a dealer try to lie about and tell me an oil was full syn I bought it (Sorry cant remember the brand but was so called top shelve oil brand sponsors KTM off road Racing teams) I read every inch of the bottle and nowhere did it say it was full or or semi syn so I jumped on the Web and went to the Website sure enought it wasn't so I took the unopened bottle back to him and asked for a refund which he was relucant to do till I threaten to take him to fair trading, he changed his tune and said "I thought that would be better cos it cheaper then the full Syn and it's only a Rocket" So I told him in no uncertain term how far he could shove his bussines up his Lying Arse. as he learnt when someone asks full something don't Bull**** to them as he has lost any chance of ever selling me or any of my mates whom I have told another thing from his shop
just make this all clear this dealer is not the local dealer that went out of bussines but one that still trades in the next town "Ulladulla" the local dealer that went broke only had it for a year but was never there choosing employ a casual emplyee, the previous owners had alway run the shop themselves and had been good to deal with they sold Motul and I always used it, acording thier website the 300v is for race bikes or track bikes not really meant for road bikes, the 7100 is the full syn meant for road bikes. but when the later dealer went bust I was forced to go 36 km up the road to Ulladulla till the guy lied to me, it was about this time that a mate took over his fathers Auto Pro shop and expanded to cater for bikes in regards for oils and batterys

well you know im a bit anal about what i feed my machines. im running motul and only motul in mine. i run a thicker oil than most as with my mods i prefer the higher temp stuff just mean i have to warm it up a bit before i take off.

Richard, your BMW dealer will tell you that unless you run Castrol in their M series cars you void warranty. Problem is my M5 used to drink more oil than Hans drinks Rum. Apparently they just use oil especially if you cane the crap out of it every day which in my opinion is the only way to drive an m5. point is, it must be good oil as the V10 are a high revving powerful engine and it worked well.

I run motul in my rocket as if i didn't Lushie wouldn't talk to me. if its good enough for lushie its good enough for me,

Buy OEM Triumph brand myself ... but i'm open to consider anything that's of equal or better quality though.

I don't know if you guys can get Purolator filter down under or not but I use their Synthetic filter PSL14610with Expensive Joe Gibs racing oil still 15w50 weight. Nothing is to googd for my beast.
They are a little long say about 17mm but the chrome shield still fits and it leave a dark blue stripe between the chrome shiel and the engine block.
