No start issue, is it battery.

I think its better to buy a battery from a local store that you can return if you need to and get a mantainence free sealed battery dont buy a battery online to save a few dollars you want to be able to return it if you have a problem

Last year I bought two of those Motobatt for my R3R. Twas my first on-line battery ordering.
Both were crap and puked after a month. Having got them from Amazon, all my money was refunded!

Did you have to ship them back Im sure you did thats a hassle also just go to SAMS or WALMART there cheap enough and Ive returned bad batteries to both of them never a problem

NO! They had me keep them and refunded ALL of my money!
They sit on my bench awaiting give -a-way.
BTW - both tested OK at the Parts store, just intermittently didn't work on my bike.

Nothing wrecks a lead acid battery quicker than sitting around for long periods partially discharged, this causes sulfation of the lead plates where a crystalline forms on the plates reducing the area for the sulphuric acid to work on the plates effectively , for infrequently used vehicles a battery minder is a must for extending the life of the battery ,all my vehicles are hard wired with quick couplings to attach a battery minder with capacity to suit the vehicle 350ma,1600ma and 5400ma units all with automatic cut offs and suitable voltage ranges,
You swallow a dictionary Ken ?

HUH now that sounds strange so what was the problem ?

After a month's use, they would intermittently become dead after a night's stop out on the road.
After three or four times I lost faith and dumped it. The second one did the same darn thing.
I'll not use Motobatt again, but I would buy from Amazon again.
