Welcome from Christchurch New Zealand.

Have fun putting it back together.

Mine cost that much to fix last year.

But lucky for me the Tax man gave me more than that in a return

Welcome to the Triumph Rocket 3 Show & tell. You are going to have a whole lot of fun working on this engine. Follow instructions in the manual and you can't go wrong. Here is the name of a shop near my home, I know they are far from you but I know for a fact they enjoy working on R3,s & helping people work on their own projects. Roy Performance just outside Montreal, in Chateaugauy Qc. You can look them up on facebook or send me PM & I'll get you their coordinates if your interested.

Hi all,
So I received the complete gasket set, but am stumped here.
I have the crankcase halves, with everything exposed and the crank bearings showing.
I was about to put it together, but am not able to find gaskets in the kit for this. I do see that there is some residual gasket glue that I was scraping off, but does this not have gaskets and only uses gasket sealant between the two halves?
I really appreciate the assistance and kind words you have had for me.

Thank you,
Curtis

Are we missing a few steps ?

In your original post, you mentioned "locked in third gear". Most folks having the engine open like that would send the gears to Robinson's for full check-up, once determined good undercut, and purchase a billet fourth gear. Also benefiting from the experience of masters past and present, paying extra close attention to the circlips and their directionality - pretty sure I've read about having the channels enlarged ever so slightly and installing slightly larger circlips.
